was nice yesterday with ABOVE normal temps...supposed to be even a bit warmer today! (with yes, rain)...will actually have to get around to cleaning out the a/c filter soon!

Guess we will just toss it and start over again.

It has been warm here. It was 86 yesterday and then it rained last night. Now the high is only supposed to be 72 today. But I'm aokay with that.

yes warm, yes rain, yes cooler today...and cleaned the air filter so we can turn the a/c on (it was almost 90 in here last night--not even that hot outside!!)
cleaned my fan too--so it wont blow dust all over the place (ok, not as much dust all over the place

Getting dust all over the place does sound like a pretty terrible idea. Good plan on cleaning it for sure!

Up at my in-laws for the weekend. Celebrating Mother's Day with them then we will drive back tomorrow afternoon. Be a full day.

hope you had a good time....was actually warm here (and hot in the apt)....and today we have had torrential rains...talk of flooding again---got those ark plans out again.

We did have a good time. It was warm there as well. And then it rained for most of our trek home. And by rain I mean torrential downpours. Pretty awesome to drive in...

Going to be a lot cooler today. 63 is the high compared to the 90 we hit yesterday.

oh yeah, its fun to drive in that kind of stuff...I remember a nice ole car accident I was in (sister driving) back in 86 in Georiga--couldnt see much passed the end of the car so we decided to call it a day and find a hotel, got hit making the turn (and the other driver had open alcohol in his car), fun fun fun.....so yeah not a fan of driving in that kind of stuff.

It was pretty darn warm until the storms rolled through later that night. Cooled it right off. High today was 60.

Glad we didn't end up like that. We had to get back so I could go to work Monday. I just played it safe and kept the car in front of me far enough away for me to stop, but close enough to see their taillights.

We try Malice. We are always open for friends though.

yeah, that is always a good idea, in any kind of inclement weather....and more rain. need to go and buy some wood....what is the conversion factor from cubits into inches again?

Very true. That other sites thread is pretty much dead. It only lives in short spurts. Sometimes I forget to post there because I just assume no one else has. Oh well.

I actually used to know that conversion... Back when I listened to the Moses skit by Bill Cosby. I looked it up. Now I don't remember... Just make it really big.

Yeah, I dont visit the other site much since I was told what I could and could not post (and gee since we spend most of our time here talking about it......) as well as I am not a mod over there, so I could get banned

for posting about our normal topics

as such:
hubby made some deep fried rice balls (they have an italian name which I cant be ^%@* to look up now) last night, supposed to have meat inside, but we used cheese instead (yes he made me make them since I have the cooking gene)...came out ok, though gorgonzola cheese was probably not the best choice!

been doing some genealogy stuff--got lots of really old photos (and no one to ask who those peeps are in those pics), sister-in-law scanned them all, now we just have to figure out who they all are (about 20k photos--though only about 1/2 are unlabeled, yeah, only half!)

We have power over here. Therefore it is better over here.

We had leftovers last night. Which is okay since we have lots of those. Tonight is chicken fried rice I believe.

My wife's parents and grandparents do that. I think my grandma and grandpa do have a bit of that as well, but I'm not for sure. It sounds like a lot of work to me...

I love his laugh after "How long can you tread water?" It is awesome. Sometimes when my students ask me for a hint I ask them that. They sadly don't get it...

Long time!
pretty good here, got plenty of snow this winter, tons of freezing (and below freezing) weather then as well...now its finally spring and yes, more water dumping on us from the heavens (its raining again).
So outside of the need to build that ark and a very serious allergy season on us---pretty good.
How you been? (I actually was in the copenhagen airport not to long ago and thought of you as we fly in).

We've had rain, snow, hail, Sun all of it as usual just random weather doing it's thing here.

I have been good/bad but the doctor finally found the source of my stomach cramps (i do have IBS but it wasn't causing the cramps) and just been chilling trying to get into an every day live really ^^

I see, what were you doing in this part of the world then`?.

Visiting a friend in Finland, had a stopover in Denmark on the way back (stockholm on the way there), and yes, we had snow and cold temps when I was there, my friend said that, however, there had not been enough snow this winter for her to go cross-country skiing (we had almost 4x what we are supposed to get--2nd snowist winter here)....was nice to see some of my grandparents old stomping grounds.
so what do you have (besides IBS)? Krohns? (my brothers have that)...either way, I hope they have some treatments for it (instead of just 'deal with it').

I see i see, you did traveled quite a bit then must have been great fun!

It was something psychological that happened when i was around 20 that had sat itself as a stomach pain and when i finally talked about it it disappeared entirely

Well atleast it's spring now here and we get mostly sun or rain so all the forests and nature looks damn pretty and free food all around the areas like apples, strawberries, cherries and so on, really nice to go pick those and eat or make marmelade from.
